| Hospitalization
We admit patients to Northwest
Hospital, an outstanding medical facility serving
the north Seattle community. When you are hospitalized,
a team of skilled hospitalists will take care of
you. They will be in touch with us so we can monitor
your progress.
Prescription Refills
Simply call your pharmacy
when you need a prescription refilled. The pharmacy
will then ask the office for the necessary authorization.
Please call the pharmacy at least 48 hours before
running out of a medication. If you need a refill
for the weekend, please call by Thursday so we can
authorize it in time.
Payment and Insurance
To assist us in keeping
our costs low, we encourage you to pay your bill
at the time of your visit.
We maintain contracts with most insurance
companies and will bill them for your care. You will
be responsible for deductibles and co-pays, as well
as other amounts not paid by your insurer. If yours
is an insurance company we do not bill directly,
we will provide you with a statement to send for
reimbursement.

whether we belong to your particular plan.
Telephone Calls
We encourage you to call
with any questions or concerns during clinic hours.
A provider or his or her assistant will call you
back as soon as time permits later that day or evening.
In emergency situations, the provider or his or her
assistant will be brought to the phone promptly.
We offer 24-hour phone coverage for
after-hours calls. If you call when the office is
closed, the answering service will notify us.
Support Staff
Our staff includes a clinic
manager, a medical assistant for each provider, certified
laboratory technicians, X-ray technicians, receptionists,
medical records, referral and bookkeeping staff.
